Thorn Mill is an independent workshop founded by Erdem Uygan in İznik, Türkiye.

Every lighter and writing instrument is designed, machined and assembled in the workshop. No kits are used, no outsourced manufacturing is involved, and every piece is produced in small numbers.

Brass, copper, titanium and carefully selected natural materials are transformed into objects meant to be used daily and appreciated for decades.

The metals and natural materials we use are selected from brass, copper, titanium and carefully chosen exotic woods.

No plating, paint or artificial coatings are applied. Over time, each piece develops a unique patina and character, becoming truly one of a kind for its owner.

The Workshop

Every Thorn Mill object begins in a small workshop in İznik, Türkiye.

Design, machining, assembly and finishing are carried out under one roof. Traditional machining methods are combined with modern equipment, and every piece is produced individually.

There is no mass production, outsourcing or production line.
