## Materials and Workmanship
- No paint, varnish, or chemical coatings are used on the products.
- Metals such as copper, brass, and bronze change color over time due to oxidation.
- This “tarnishing” process gives your lighter a unique patina.
- If you prefer the original shine, you can polish it with metal polish and a soft cloth.

## Fuel Information
- Thorn Mill lighters run on **liquid lighter fluid**.
- For safety reasons, they are shipped without fuel.
- Zippo® or Clipper® lighter fluid may be used.
**Refilling steps:**
1. Open the large cap at the bottom.
2. Add enough fuel to slightly dampen the cotton.
3. Do not overfill the lighter.
4. Wait a short time for the fuel to reach the wick, then ignite.

## Flint Replacement
- The flint can be replaced even when the lighter contains fuel.
**Replacement steps:**
1. Remove the spring attached to the flint wheel by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Loosen the set screw underneath with a small hex key.
3. Remove the spring.
4. Insert the new flint, replace the spring, and tighten the screw.

# VERDE Fountain Pen User Manual

## Usage
- Open the cap with the screw mechanism.
- You can use the fountain pen with an ink cartridge or a converter.
- On first use, it may take a few minutes for the ink to reach the nib after inserting the cartridge.

## Maintenance
- If you will not be using your pen for a long time, empty the ink inside.
- Clean with warm water; do not use detergent or alcohol.
- Wipe the brass and rosewood barrel with a damp cloth; keep away from chemical cleaners.
